Anyone going to give any of the above a whirl this weekend? I've heard of some guys getting response to some light sparring with the rattling horns as well as some calling with the grunt tubes....
Wondered if anyone was going to get any more agressive this weekend? Or is the consensus that it is still a bit early?
Anyone putting a decoy out this weekend?
I saw a nice 9 or 10 pt. last night (too dark to definitely tell), and been debating on how I'd like to try and ambush him this weekend if given the opportunity. Thought about some light rattling and even tossed the idea around of a decoy.
Wanted to see other's opinions...

I start using a grunt call when season opens, but I save the aggressive grunts for later in the season. Besides, I've had a lot more luck with doe bleats for bucks anyway. I did hear a young buck grunting while it pestered a doe last Sunday morning.
I will probably give it another week or two before I start rattling and give decoys another try.

If I didnt already have my buck, I would definitely do some rattling this weekend with the cooler temps and all the buck activity I've been seeing
