You couldn't ask for a more perfect day to be doing anything outdoors! Myself, Mike Stearley, Tony Zenthoefer and his son Brad have officially started the Central Indiana Chapter of Delta Waterfowl's Hen House program! We were given the green light from Noblesville Schools to add conservation structures at the Chinquapin Outdoor Education Center in Noblesville. They have a fantastic little wetland that had ducks waiting on us as we eased back through the woods. We had ducks working overhead as we installed the structures and hopefully a couple Suzies will find out Hen Houses and raise her brood in them. We also hung a couple wood duck boxes over the pond...
Our wood duck box program is well established, and putting these hen houses in the ground starts the ball rolling on putting more greenheads in the sky.
