The arrow is laying in approximation of how the arrow passed thru the deer........ ![](http://www.flatlandersatv.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10003/deerbowarrow.JPG)

This was my first kill with a SLICK TRICK broadhead. I had some reservations about the "small" head, but no doubt anymore! They certainly did the TRICK! ![](http://www.flatlandersatv.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10003/STentry.JPG)

This is the kind of blood trail you love to see, tho it was not needed since she piled up at about 30yds.... within sight! ![](http://www.flatlandersatv.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10003/bloodtrail3.JPG)

She was facing dead away from me. The arrow entered in just on the right side of her spine, went thru one lung, thru the heart, and out between her front legs........ This pic shows that it was a perfectly placed shot! ![](http://www.flatlandersatv.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10003/heart.JPG)

She must've been close for that shot angle to occur. Good job! I like the heart pic. I've got a few of those myself. The steep angled shots are tricky, and some people don't like them, but with a low exit the bloodtrail is usually a good one. I will take them if given the oppurtunity. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Congrats to you sir!

Thanks guys.
Yeah she was only 12yds from the tree and I was 22ft off the ground.... makes for a dramatic angle.
Now I've got two in the freezer, and it's time for the bucks to start moving good, so it's on to BUCK hunting now till full rut!
