Went out this afternoon with Tim Powell, Travis and his son Kyle along with my 2 boys. Had a few choices after scouting yesterday and decided on this field. Between the bluebird skies, no wind whatsoever and the muddy mess the field had turned into we had low expectations... well, we ended up with 15 with 1 that we weren't able to get cause of where it went down. Anyways, the kids had a great time... some pictures from the hunt. The boys doing some retrieving Picture of Travis and I with our boys with the geese Tim with the geese Our wives were so happy when these kids got home - coated head to toe in mud. They had an awesome time and their faces say it all.

I'm not mad at the hunters but it sure would be nice if southern Indiana had a Feb goose season. It really whizzes me off that we don't! Nice job on the hunt though.

I agree with ya xmax. If anything, run the 2 bird limit in all the counties through the 15th, and let the suburban counties keep the 5 bird limit.

That's what it's all about right there. Getting the kids out! Hope they are soon dropping the geese right along with you and making DAD do the retrieving! ;D
