Yes I'm gonna be using a 23" Contender Carbine for my .357 Herrett Short. Since I will be only trimming the neck down to comply with the IDNR Regs, I shouldn't have to worry too much about losing velocity or energy. The .357 Herrett headspaces on the shoulder and that will be uneffected. Thanks for your help.
