Sir;
I have a T/C Contender in .357 Herrett caliber. Currently the cases are 1.70" long. Too long to be legal to hunt with. But I am going to cut the cases down to 1.624" to meet the maximum limit allowed by regulations for a pistol cartridge. In essence it would now be a .357 Herrett Short cartridge. Some have told me that my efforts are in vain. But I believe I will have complied with the regulations as stated. What is your opinion on my wildcat round for deer hunting in Indiana?
