Hunted Sunday and saw 3 greater snows on my pond, you know the ones that weigh about 20lbs. each. Also saw about 350-400 Canada geese which I managed to kill a few. Slow start to the special February season, should pick up this weekend with the warmer temps. Should pick up this weekend with the warmer temps.

We have thousands on the river around Mt. Vernon (Posey) and Saugherheber, in KY. However, we got the short end of the stick in the Southern Part of the state this year for extended hunting opportunities. We can not hunt the conservation season until Feb 16th because of the Canada Goose season in the northern counties. While picking up decoys on Sunday we could have killed a few snows and tons of Canada geese. It is supposed be corrected for next year though.
