It would be nice if our dnr would take a stand against the people that think Mute Swans are pretty and actually do something to ELIMINATE them before the become as big of a problem as they are in other states. They are a biological disaster waiting to happen. If anyone disagrees with me just research the North American Mute Swan Management Plan. The scientific data compiled by the feds and a # of individual states is alarming.
Something needs to be done. They are as bad as the Zebra mussel or the asian big head carp.

They are quite a nuisance, and very mean. They have almost all of the Canadas chased off of Story Lake in Steuben County.
