I have been invited to join some folks at "Lost River" near Paoli, IN to hunt released pheasants and chuckers. Anyone been there and know what I should expect? Would my H&R 16 guage single shot with modified choke be more than adequate for the hunt?

It's not a hunt, it's a shoot, but you already know that?

My son used a 20ga on Pen raised bird and did fine so a 16ga should have any problems.

Ive been down there several times. Its a nice place. I took a business client the last time and used a dog and "guide" from there. The only thing I didnt like was we were done very quickly. In the past I have a friend who has a dog and we made the shooting last for the biggest part of 1/2 day.
