So here are the heads from 6 of the last 9 years of bucks I've killed. I have one other mounted at my office, one is still in the ground and one I ruined using bleach to try my own euro mount..... Trying to figure out what I want to do with them now! I already have in my living room 4 shoulder mounts, a full mt coon, a full mt Turk, a full mt pheasant, a tail and wing mt truk, and the 2 coyotes so its getting pretty crowded! I was going to mount them on the barn board around the wood stove but it looks too busy. I hate to just put them in a corner. What do you guys do with all the racks to display them?

Those are all nice deer. Shoot does for a few years, or start making a chandoliere.

I shoot a lot of Does every year. and for the other comments thats exactly why Im looking for something creative to do with them. dont want them sitting in a corner of the garage of basement! I thought about the chandoliere idea, dont know if I could bring myself to cut them off the skull plate ! lol I work hard every year to kill a decent buck and am just looking for a creative way to display them.

I mounted my turkey feet to some old boards I had and they look pretty neat.

Ya, each rack would lose a lot by cutting them off of the skull. Use them for coat racks. Or vault your ceilings and display them all.

No place for mounts.
I keep a couple of sets of antlers for rattles, but otherwise I really don't care.
I suppose if I get a nice animal I'll give the cape & rack to my local Taxidermy guy in exchange for some buckskin or somthing.

A very fine collection. I would certainly clean those skulls up and make euro mounts. They would make an impressive line on a wall. You don't even need a plaque. I think they look good just hanging on a nail.

I've been hanging mine up in my pole barn, the walls and rafters. I like to stick a note in each euro mounting, giving the date, location and maybe whom i was with when i harvested the animal.

Add on a MAN CAVE with a vaulted celing and mount them and hang them on the wall.

Seems to me they would look very nice hanging around your fire place there. Those are some very nice bucks.

You can always just skull plate them instead of cutting off at the base. Take a bone saw and cut across the skull just above the eyes, clean out the brains, look at the red line that tells you about its memory. Level and mount on wall. looks fine that way.

I hang all mine on the walls of my " dog house" (ie man den). I saw off the skull plate and write the date, weight, location where taken, and what I took him with, using a felt tip marker. I have every buck I have taken on the walls, now I have to find a bigger house, about out of wall space.

Add on a MAN CAVE with a vaulted celing and mount them and hang them on the wall. Thats what I did. I also took some and made a pair of lamps in couple evenings.
