Hello! Just signed up! I recently got the itch to start hunting. I have hunted for years ( deer and coon ) during the holidays when i visit family in TN but this last xmas i gt the itch to step it up and try to hunt closer to home.
Anyway, I'm 26, married, and I live in Sellersburg. I work 3rd shift ( 10pm to 6am ) being up all night makes it easy to stay up late and chase coonhounds on the weekends ;D I bought a 12 ga. 870 and will probably have to hunt pubic land but I dont mind. Mostly deer and turkey I'd say, but i'd really like some more non typical stuff like 'yotes, foxes, bobcats...
I'd also love to coon hunt ( or anything else really) with anyone that wants the company, or at least dosent mind me tagging along. I dont have any land or a dog, but I dont mind helping out where i can if I can tag along
I'm also starting at JCTC (then U of L) to get a B.S. in biology so i can study this stuff for a living

Welcome
Indiana has alot of different game to hunt but not bobcats, they are protected in the state.

yeah I remember that now, just strange b/c in kentucky you can take 5, strange that they are protected here but i geuss the river keeps them from crossing the border.
I did see rumors of hogs in Indiana, now that would be neat!
