The morning started off slow. A fellow forum member drove by and honked, then called to let me know the geese have not been that field for weeks. Soon after that call things got a little crazy. Doug had to put a goose in his blind while others were in coming.  We were finished soon after. While we were picking up the decoys, geese were landing a couple of hundred yards away.  Drove to the end of the field to take our hero pictures and the geese kept coming in.    |

Sorry about trying to lead you astray Tim but I REALLY hadn't been seeing anything there for several weeks. But it's more in Wolfie's backyard than mine so he SHOULD know it a little better  Should I call you more often ;D ;D ;D Did drive around a little on the way home and found a few. Called Dan about those and he was going to call Adam with that location. I think I was pretty close with that site when I called you back this AM if that helps. Congrats on the double pair!! .....now about this icefishing......  |

I've got a load of stuff in the back of my truck now(don't ask..) but as soon as that get emptied out I'll throw all of my icefishing gear in and be ready to go. Unfortunately I'm still gonna have to go to work too  |

Looks like it's a good thing I picked another field this morning! But did you get anything? Sounds like I didn't give you a good report on the field conditions and even tried to tell Tim the same. He didn't listen and it's a good thing! |

The pond down here should be iced up pretty well next weekend too. Weather is supposed to get *really* cold Wed/Thurs..... Yes, I did call Adam and left him a message. |

I got your message late yesterday Dan, I have been watching those birds all last week. There are a bunch in that area. I haven't been able to get free to go hunt them, I would like to try to sometime real soon though.

If you do decide to try it, let me know. This time of year it won't be too terribly hard for me to break away from work for a weekday morning hunt if need be. Though timing with the kids in the mornings might be a little iffy...... |
