Some of you remember the post this summer of my son and I going to Africa for a plains game hunt. Well, my son decided to book a cat hunt in jan. to coincide with working a bowl game in AZ. over New Years.
He started the hunt last Sat. He called me Mon. nite and said he had gotten his cat!
The guide said it was the biggest cat he had taken in 5 yrs., and may make the record book. His estimated weight was 155 lbs. My son wound up shooting him with a .357 ruger. The funny part is he has never hunted with a handgun before ;D I asked him if he practiced with it before the hunt, and he said no, no time. His first shot bang flopped the cat right there! ;D
