229 acres for $2K looked decent. Only 40+ acres is woods though.

229 acres for $2K looked decent. Only 40+ acres is woods though. I agree. Not too much woodland or cover for Deer. Looks like it might offer some good Rabbit or Quail hunting though.

Wooded cover is about average for what leases I have looked at. I have even seen some that say 100+ acre lease and when looking at picts you can tell that there are only 5 or 6 acres of actual wooded area.

some of the biggest bucks killed are killed on properties just like this. just because there are only 5 acres of woods dont mean they arent there. it only takes about a 5 foot by 3 foot section for a big buck to hide in.

There are only 6 leases on that whole site, all in Michigan.
