I have one quail to cook and I was wondering how I should do it? Unfortunately it wasn't mine as I can't seem to hit those things. Was on my second hunt ever for them and I missed 4 times.

Hope you are not too hungry, 1 quail...last time I had some I put them in a pot of rice and some other stuff and baked until done. They were good.

Hope you are not too hungry, No, I am not hungry. Only reason I have this thing is because my Son told the guy we were hunting with that he had never had quail before so I ended up with the bird my friend got.

Tastes like chicken ;D ;D ;D Wish my grandmother were still alive-she fried up more than her share of those critters...she's been gone for ten years though and it's been probably forty years since I've had the pleasure of a tasty mouthful of little chicken.

On a grill (or I suppose on a baking tray in the oven). Wrap with bacon--hold bacon on with toothpick...Keep on turning...when the bacon is done, nice and crisp, so will the quail breast.
Enjoy
