Looking into one of these but i can only find reviews from when they were fairly new. Anybody still got these things working well for them and how good are they really? Sounds like a nice cam for a decent price. It also seems that they outdo the competition. Looking into one but don't want to waste my money on junk. Let me know what you guys think. I'm open to all suggestions.

A friend of mine has the same camera only it is under a different name. His is an Edge by Expedite. It is the smallest trail camera I have ever seen, but it will do everything that the bigger cameras will do, including video It works well in poor light too. Hre are just a couple pictires from the camera. Disregard the times on these shots as he had replaced the batteries and did not reset the time. One shot is in good light and the other is on poor light. That's a great low light photo. So these cameras were on the market under a different name before. Did they also not have all the same features as they do now? Or do you know?

I don't think this is a "before" camera. I just think that two different companies are selling them under two different names. They both came out about the same time. Scoutguard seems to be more agressive in marketing. The Edge by Expedite was on Sportsman's Guide, but I cant seem to find it now. It was $199 there too.

there is the scoutgaurd, the edge, and the covert . from what a sales rep told me they are all made by the same company. so if you wanted in the trail cam business you could probably get with them and call it a gumlick cam. anyway. i have a scoutgaurd and it is by far the best camera i have ever bought and plan on buying a couple more this summer. it beats all of my cuddes hands down. the trigger time is a little longer than the cuddes but the clearity is the same and battery life beats them hands down. i have had mine in the woods since middle of september and up till the last day of bow season it still had 2/3 battery power left. havent had to change batteries once. thats pretty good considering it takes AA. i can only get my cuddes to last about a month or a little longer in decent fall type weather. im going to check all my cams this weekend ill let you know and also post some pics it has taken.

Awesome! Will be getting one in a couple of weeks I'm sure. Thanks again for posting the photos. It helps to know that someone is really happy with theirs.
Thanks again!

Got mine yesterday. Camo version with free 2 GB SD card off of ebay. Playing ball today so I don't have time to go set it up but I'll let you know how it goes.
