We have a group come in down here in Southwestern part of the state, I see them every year for about 1 week, then they leave. My highlight this year was the whooping cranes that were in the area here for about a week. That was really cool.

Those mute swans should be in season right now! It's BS we can't hunt those. That's one rule I'd like to see IDNR change and make them in season when ever another waterfowl is in season. That would keep the jack holes from shooting them during the summer season when the lakers are enjoying the beautiful birds and help keep those SOB out of Indiana. The northern lakes are getting hammered with em. It's only going to continue to move down. MI is thick with them too....

They moved on to Story Lake in Dekalb County, and basically ran the geese off. They are very aggressive birds. Some people think they are pretty to look at, I just think they are a nusiance.
