Unbelievable, the mast production where I live was outstanding, acorns, hickory nuts, beech nuts, apples, pears.......Makes me wonder where these folks got their information and if they realize that Indiana has property south of Interstate 70.

Lost my note from a long time ago about acorns and squirrels. Seems they will eat one species of acorn and bury the others because of the fact that one will decay and cannot be stored, whereas the other will not decay when buried. This relates to red oak and white oak. Anybody have a source for this info so I can put it back in my files?
