Where is all the birds at?

I have been out scouting, hunting, seeing some birds but with the rivers coming out down here, I do not see the birds that I am used to seeing. Hunted some floodwater yesterday and saw all kinds of idots out there hunting. I will say that some reason the birds get call shy is guys who sound like they still have the call in the box.
Anyway, I am not the best caller, but wow. I hope to shoot some birds this week, it is kinda of bad that went to Arkansas the weekend before Christmas, and we killed 56 ducks in 4 days, pretty fun down there also, then come home expecting to be able to shoot some geese of ducks, and nothing. Really stinks, I need to find some guys in the middle of the state that are into the geese and ducks.
