Two Hunters Shoot One Deer

The person who kills the deer is required to tag it. (see page 7 in the hunting regs)
Both hunters are required to have the appropriate license to have shot at the deer in the first place. By definition, taking or attempting to take, is the same thing. There may be some other unmentioned circumstances surrounding this incident. PM me with what actually happened, as it sounds like perhaps you or a friend of your's has found themselves in a pickle......
