What a fun hunt today was!! The birds are really working the area hard, and with the thaw and rain, we had alot of sheet water in the fields and had the birds really working it!! The scouting was LOTS of ducks, and LOTS of geese working the field, but the geese have really scattered and are working these fields all over and seperating, they're not bunched up right now. So we knew we would have a good duck shoot, but wasn't sure how the geese would do. 
Well it started alittle slow, but after about 30 min. into the hunt, it was nonstop action all morning and we finally were done and got all picked up and heading out about noon, and they were still flying everywhere!!!! ;D This was a really fun hunt, and we ended the morning with a 5 man limit of mallards and geese, and we also got 3 bonus ducks (2 drake blacks, and a white farm duck!!! ;D ;D ) Great hunt with some great friends, and I was glad that Jake was able to get out with us while home from college! We were able to get some great footage also! Here's some pics of the day...
