Just spent 2 mornings duck hunting with my hunting buddy of 36 years. For some reason the last 2 years we never seemed to be able to hook up. With little or no ducks in the area it didn't look promising (but we still got what it takes). We killed our limits of geese each day and several ducks thrown in for good measure. My Friend is training a young CHESSY and I have a seasoned LAB together they did a great job.I am lucky to have a spot that doesn't freeze so late season open water shoots are great. The best part was yesterday we had 2 geese in the blind and we were yakking away when with out warning about 25 geese slid over from behind, did a about face out front and came right in. I love when they surprise ya. GOOD FRIENDS, GOOD DOGS, GREAT TIMES.

Those are the times that you never forget and talk about for years to come.

QUACKIN,I have drawers full of of photos and I cannot remember the last time I looked at any of them.Piles of dead ducks and geese all look the same to me no matter how many times you photograph them. What you cannot see in photographs are all the mishaps, and laughter. The one thing I enjoy the most about this site and others is just having a good conversation with good ethical hunters such as yourself. OGGIE says it right YOU NEVER FORGET THEM AND YOU TALK ABOUT THEM FOR YEARS TO COME.

I like going back through mine. Helps me think back to the good times. Now w/the digital thing, it makes it even easier to share pictures. I enjoy seeing other hunter pics as much as I do seeing mine.
