Why isn't there pics of the young man with the deer? Interesting story if it true...Congrats! I had a hell of a time finding this blurb. I suspect they were like a lot of folks and didn't take too many pics.

That's the deer! Thank you Hoosier hunter. Where did you find that? I got the pics off several sites. I think hunting.net had the majority of them. It's been the talk. Supposedly going to score around 230 B&C. Seems like Ripley County is puttin out some big boys. This was killed Sunday of opening weekend.

A guy I work with lives next door to this kid and his family. He said that was the wildest looking rack he had ever seen. I thought he was exagerrating until I saw the pics. Hopefully that young fellow beats that cancer and chases whitetails for several years to come.

I'm ecstatic that the kid took it instead of an out-of state pro hunter.

I'm glad that this little guy after going through everything he has with the cancer, can man up and put the smack down on an incredible animal! How can a little case of Buck Fever compare to Cancer? Next time I have it... I'll remember his eyes and smile and hope I'm half as stron as he. Congratulations and God's speed!
