Actually we're doing Royal Flush tomorow (Sunday) and maybe the clean-up at Atterbury on Monday. I gotta get this pup into some birds.

We had a good time today and got all our birds. My pup did really well and only bumped one bird (the first one) and was rock steady the rest of the afternoon. We even picked up a bonus pheasant and a bonus quail along with our chukars. Have a good time this week and stay dry!!!!! Shawn's expecting you tomorrow.

Jack, just got home a bit ago. Had 14 out of 15 birds to clean from Lost River from today. Monday Shawn was expecting us we ended up with 13 out of 15 I paid for but picked up some quail left over. Tuesday we ended up 10 of 12 at Sugar Creek. Had a good 3 days of bird hunting, both dogs faired well, my 1 1/2 year old lab started finding birds at 6 month old but just started finding the after the shoot and is getting better everytime out. I do think I might be more tired then he is right now. I think I might just make this a annual trip. All 3 places were top notch, friendly, great cover and birds that would fly all day long. Ever want to come up and try to find some wild ones let me know and I'll try to give you a good day of it. Thanks for the tip on the game farms.

Most are about the same - $70 gets you 4 pheasants or 6 chukars or 10 quail.

Hey, Jack
Did you ever make it out to The Land of OZ this year? I don't recall seeing any huge snowstorms on the news yet....

LOL!!!! Yup. We did the second week (when quail opened) and saw tons of birds. We're in-between Dodge and Wichita on Rattlesnake Creek....no rattlesnakes though. Did see a ton of turkeys. Next year I'm gonna turkey hunt in the morning and bird hunt in the afternoon. I think a couple of the guys are going back today for the deer season. Jack P.S. The weather was perfect maybe a touch warm but we got rain one day and beautiful the rest of the time. By the way civilization ends just west of Topeka.

We take the boys there every spring for turkey - they're as thick as Indiana ticks! Oh, and we took care of the rattlesnakes for you!! Still got a couple in the freezer!
