Had to break through a lot of ice this morning. We did manage to drop a ringneck, get a couple of good passing shots off, and got a flock of about 8 geese to come in.......just out of range on some of the only open water on the lake. Looks like we might have to find some moving water. We might be making a long day trip to the South Zone after the 1st of the year. Never tried it before, anybody have any suggestions they could offer up?
