Cooking isn't rocket science. Here are some of my favorite game bird recipes.
try this one.. take a crock pot.. I am sure you have one... If not go buy one preferably with a removable liner inside..
in greased crockpot...use butter or margarine chopped carrots, new potatoes/Yukon golds, chopped onion, on bottom of crock pot place pheasant on top of veggies may season with salt, pepper, herbs like rosemary, thyme, poultry seasoning pour 2 cans of cream of celery soup on top of bird and veggies and cook in crock pot 5 - 6 hours at low until leg and wing joint come off easily and juice is clear.
second option
in greased crock pot: season bird with pepper salt and any herbs such as rosemary, thyme, poultry seasoning, etc place chop new potatoes / Yukon golds, mushrooms, onions place seasoned pheasant on top of veggies top with 2 cans of creamy mushroom cook 5-6 hours till bird is done... joints pop and clear juice...
third option ( my favorite )
in greased crock pot place chopped new potatoes/Yukon gold, onions, and mushrooms season bird with pepper salt and any herbs such as rosemary, thyme, poultry seasoning, place seasoned pheasant on top of veggies top with 1-2 cans of golden mushroom soup, and a 1/2 cup of red wine.. a Cabernet is my choice cook in crock pot 5 - 6 hours at low until leg and wing joint come off easily and juice is clear.
