It was about 8:00 and some does were working their way to me and then I heard a buck grunting and then I saw a 4 pointer, that I didn't know was there, come up from out of some thick brush. He hearded these does around for probably 10 minutes after he pushed the 4 pointer out and then he stepped out onto the four wheeler trail. He walked from downwind of me to literally 10 yards from the base of my tree. From there I let the Omega take over. He ran about 40 yards and was done. When I field dressed him his heart was in two pieces...he was literally broken hearted! 11 pointer and weighed in right at 180 lbs.
