Did you have to put "buddies" on your intial application for summit lake reduction hunt or can you add them if you were drawn as the primary?

Not sure this year, but last year it was just like the deer hunts. If you didn't put a buddy down you were going solo. You had to apply with the buddy who will hunt with you no subs, and your buddy couldn't apply and put you as a buddy for the same hunt.

Yep had to put your buddies down or the original application. You cant take anyone that was not signed up with you

Thanks, I guess I spaced it or it wasn't explained very well.
Guess the day of lottery guys can have spot #22. I'm not driving 2 hours to hunt by myself for 2 birds.

There was an info page which made this clear, and you had to check the bottom of the page stating that you had read and understood all info before you were able to proceed to the application. Hard to imagine how to make it much simpler...

I think here is a stand-by, I'm not sure about details though. It's probably restricted to unsuccessful applicants. Has anyone called Summit?
