When you applied for the summit or potato creek reduction hunt, i thought you were only allowed to choose one weekend only?

Here's what mine said:
You have requested registration for:
1. Dec 6 & 7 State Park Goose Reductions 2. Dec 13 & 14 State Park Goose Reductions
You have successfully submitted an application for hunt Dec 6 & 7 State Park Goose Reductions at Summit Lake State Park on December 06, 2008 - December 07, 2008
You have successfully submitted an application for hunt Dec 13 & 14 State Park Goose Reductions at Summit Lake State Park on December 13, 2008 - December 14, 2008
Don't remember if I applied for both or if both was the default...

See not all is lost, I bet there are more killed in the fields then in the park. I pretty certain there were last year!

Completely objective view here,
If they wanted to reduce the population at Summit they would let people freaking hunt it. The draw last year (and apparently this year) was a complete joke. You guys are right. I've killed more birds in the fields surrounding that park than have been killed in two years of draw hunts.
Put stakes around the lake at 100 yard intervals. Draw for the stakes. If people don't show up take stand bys.

So take it you moron, it's not like it is that big of a deal. Either take it and increase your chances on bonus hunts or quit B&M over that rule. Geeze!

Woody,
It's okay; duff gives me a much harder time in person. : )
duff,
I got drawn for the Atterbury Holiday Hunt without Hunter Ed, so I guess getting drawn at Summit was a possibility, just stirring the pot a little. : )
Question for all:
I still have my Hunter Ed book from the 70s. Is this still what they teach?

How many years are we going to have to hear you say, "Since I'm not required by law to have Hunter Ed, I got a rejection card today as expected."

410 and duff,
No shows with Hunter Ed don't kill any nuisance geese. If everybody drawn shows up and limits out, then I'll shut up. : )
I know you guys are right, just stirring this thread's pot... : )

Woody, It's okay; duff gives me a much harder time in person. : ) Well and good... but sometiems others see that kind of "moron" statement by one person on here and think it is OK if they really call someone else a "moron" later on and mean it. I just don't want anyone to get ideas that it is OK to call other members that. See my point?

Sorry Woody, snake is a good hunting buddy and very tollerant of me and my ways. It is a challenge to try to push him to the limit that I have rarely if ever seen him get to. I will limit what I say to or about him.

I rarely listen to duff, but I do listen to the wise man, 410. : )
93% (70/75) on the Hunter Ed online exam today, so now I can hunt the Atterbury Holiday Hunt!
