Nope came home and hunted my own little marsh and shot 2 mallards

Friends of mine blanked also.They hunted on our farm next to the preserve and had a great shoot.Talked to others who hunted both units and they said it was not a barnburner as they thought it might be.

I got 30 out of 35 today at the slough. Hunted the pogue. Saw some birds early, no shooting though. There 5 guys waiting to weigh some big bucks when we checked in.
I also asked another duck hunter what he shot and he said 17 like he was bragging to me. I looked in his truck and he had a whole bunch of ducks.....coots that is. What a Killer.
