Have you ever tried to shoot a Yote from a tree with a bow?
It's close to impossible, they'll see you everytime!

I've taken two coyotes with bow from tree stands over my years of bow hunting. One was stalking a small flock of turkeys and the other happened to stop about 15 yards from my tree and turn to look back in the direction he came from.

I've shot several yotes from a tree stand with bow. This has more to do with a large number of tehm in my hunting area more than my abilities as a hunter. Two years ago, I shot and killed two out of three yotes within 10 to 15 minutes. They must have been hunting together or something. I missed the third and it was the closest of all three. The one I hit through the ham of the hind leg died the quickest of all coyotes that I have ever shot with a bow. Must have hit the femor artery cause it bled like no ones business.

I have only been able to get drawn and get a shot off at one coyote from the stand. Got him at 22 yards while he was trailing a doe that had came through about 5 minutes earlier.
