My trail camera which has worked flawlessly for 4 years is having a problem. The day before yesterday when I checked it, it had 222 pictures on it. Not a single picture of an animal. It just took pictures one right after the other. I shut it off and changed the card yesterday it had 93 shots same story. Anybody else have this problem or know of a possible solution? All the shots it took were during daylight.

Had the same problem with a Cuddeback, sent the camera and they replaced them but with an additional $90.00 charge...why the extra I have no idea but I think they should have been replaced at NO EXTRA COST!!!!!!

Actually I sent Cuddeback a fax yesterday telling them about my complaints as well as what I've read here and other places about problems people are having with their cameras and the company....well low and behold I got a call today from Cuddeback and the lady was very nice asked me about my problems that I was having or have had,I told her about the $90.00 difference they wanted for another camera after the one I had went bad and she said that the warranty was up after 1 year and I told her that it close to the one year when mine went defective, but she didn't offer back the $90.00...didn't figure she would!!I also told her about the others on here that were having or have had problems but again there wasn't much back from her only again about the warranty.I told her that I have two other cameras that are much older than the Cuddeback ones that I have and that didn't do much as far as she was concerned........so I think if I have to purchase anymore it'll be a different brand.

Many thanks to everyone that responded. It was an eye opener, I was under the impression that Cuddeback was a top of the line camera, I guess i was wrong. My next one will be some other brand.

The circuit is going bad, I had the same thing happen to my first one after 4 years. If it is out of warranty they will replace your camera with a new one for $90 or allow you to upgrade to a newer model for a discounted price if you have one of the older ones.

I've heard Moultrie is the way to go. Any comments on this brand? I think the I-40 was the name someone told me to get.

I've had a home brew camera for 6 years and 2 cheap Wildview camera's for 4 years. Run them pretty much year round haven't had any problems out of any of them.
