For those of you who own GPS units and have a p.c. interface to upload/download waypoints, have I got the software for you! ;D Here is the link: www.expertgps.com/purchase.aspExpertGPS is absolutley the best I have found. Once you purchase a copy($59.95),you will have the ability to download calibrated topographic and aerial photos to you desktop p.c.. The cool thing is, when looking at new locations or large tracts you can zoom in,pinpoint suspected travel routes, pine or clearcut thickets(aerial photo) and compare to topographic features. Then simply mark those spots with waypoints and upload to your GPS unit. Additionally, while field scouting, mark rubs, scrapes and other sightings in the field, then when back at home upload back to the ExpertGPS software to view those field observations on topographic and aerial photo's. ;D Excellant tool. The cheapest full function GPS software on the market that utilizes USGS topo's and aerials.Believe me, I have done significant research on all types of GPS software, this one is the best! My hunting buddy and I have used this software for three seasons to improve our scouting and have taken nice bucks, mostly on public land, each year. My 2003 muzz. buck picture is a testament to thorough scouting using this software. Had to pass this on to everyone, it is such a great tool. ;D ;D
