www.southcoasttoday.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20081024/NEWS/810240332/-1/NEWS10From the article... After the November election, Democrats will push for a second economic stimulus package that includes money for the states’ stalled infrastructure projects, along with help paying for healthcare expenses, food stamps and extended unemployment benefits, U.S. Rep. Barney Frank said Thursday.
In a meeting with the editorial board of The Standard-Times, Rep. Frank, D-Mass., also called for a 25 percent cut in military spending, saying the Pentagon has to start choosing from its many weapons programs, and that upper-income taxpayers are going to see an increase in what they are asked to pay. Yeah, handouts to people who contribute NOTHING to society in the first place. What an idiot. I only use the word idot because this is a family site. If you vote Democrat this is the utter stupidity that you are voting for.

Anything that comes out of Barney Frank's mouth is dumber than words can account for, so this doesn't surprise me. Yes, there is no point to giving handouts to those not contributing to society, but that is what socialism does best.

Barney Frank, if he were involved in a "civillian" venture, would be in jail right now after this housing fiasco!

If the man was too stupid to realize a gay prostitution ring was being run out of the basement of his own home, why would anyone care to listen to his ideas?

Well, you do know he swings that way? Sure, I know all about 'ol Barney and his "alternative" lifestyle. Incredible that his constituency keeps re-electing him ain't it? That's the guy I'd want representing me in Congress.

Doesn't the taxpayers already pay for the things mentioned above? Sounds like maybe a plan for us taxpayers not to pay as much as before. Thankfully, my family doesn't have to live off food stamps, and my wife and i both work so unemployement isn't needed for us at this time, but you never know what tomorrow brings. I'm just thankful that we have these programs in case some horiffic was to happen in my family.
Sounds good to me. About time someone made the weathly do a lil' more than just take from the economy. You'll never hear MCcain say that he'll take from the rich. NEVER

That ought to stimulate the economy. As opposed to the "trickle down effect" that has worked wonderfully correct? Give more to the rich, and hope they pass it down to the working man. What a joke!
