This weekend was a weekend of mixed feelings. First this was the first time in the last 13 years that I didn't get to hunt with my "old Buddy". Hunter, my 14 year old black lab passed away in Aug. He was missed Saturday morning at daylight.
But on a happier note the new pup, 14 months old did a fine job on 3 ducks....... Hunter wont be replaced.
But, I think Magnum would have made the Old Man proud.
Hoping everyone has a great waterfowl season. Just remember the old dogs and praise the new ones.... Hunter you are missed.
