Shot at 10 yards with a Martin bow set at 70 lbs. The Muzzy broadhead did a great job. The picture is not the best quality, it was taken with a cell phone. ![](http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r55/clintanders/squirrel.jpg)

Nice shot! I've done it with a bow before too, but I used a field point. Did you get a complete pass-through with the broadhead? Was it on the ground or in a tree?

Yes, the arrow was a pass through and stuck in the ground about 20 yards behind it. It was on a limb when I shot it. He did a few back flips before landing on the ground.

I think for squirrels, field points work just fine. The arrow doesn't pass through completely with them and you don't loose the arrow or chance messing up an expensive broadhead- especially if the squirrel is on the ground.

I prefer to shoot them on the ground with field points... that way you don't have to look for the arrow or the squirrel.... cause they are both int he same place... with the squirrel pinned down by the arrow. I have not done it yet this year... LOL I usually wait until after I have gotten my buck.... then I play around a little more.

I took one off the side of a tree once with a Muzzy also and it looked very similar!
I have taken them with field points out of my recurve before and they go all the way through. I prefer anymore to use an ACE hex head. Blunts and tears at the same time. Does pretty good!

Did you have to track it very far?
