Well we got the corn. Tons of ducks....tons of shots all morning. We hunted S2 and left with 5 ducks. 3 woodies and two teal. I dropped two more That I could not find. Guys behind us shot two banded mallards. Our blind was tucked in the corn too far. Many ducks would shoot down the corn rows and you would see them too late. Way too many woodies down there. Now I know why we get one more this year. Two R blinds limited out. They are shooting all kinds of ducks down there, some funny ones as well. Over all not a bad first day out. We should have left with 6 a piece but, some first day shooting mistakes also contributed. O well, next reserve is in Nov for us...we will see. Time for the rivers til then
