Opener 08 is off and runnin.. North wind this morning,, so that limits alot of option hunting the area I hunt.. Found a nice spot on the north bank and we waited for light. What a real nice mornign it started as.. Cloudy at shooting time,, which held the birds down for a good 10 mins into time.. Here is a couple of the early am shots..

Here is my little princess with the first 08 bird.. This is her 4th season and man did she make me proud this morning!!!

Good visit from our CO's this morning,, always glad to see them out there keep the river in line!! The guy in the front was from SW Indiana, glad to meet another.. They were very polite and to the point,, did their search and went on their way. Right on guys!!! I snapped a pic as they left..

THe ride back to the ramp and she was wore out.. My little girl!!

Here was the final score shots.. Great way to start us out up noRt!!
