My 20 year old daughter who is at college has expressed interest in deer hunting when she is home this Thanksgiving. She is a dependant and her legal residence is with us. She has never attended hunter Education.
Can she legally hunt our own farm, if accompanied by me?
Can she do it without buying a license?
Thanks

Thanks Being that she is 20 means that she was born prior to 1986, so that exempts her from hunter education. Landowners and children living with them qualify for landowner exemption. What address is on her drivers license....as I think that determines "legal" residence.

Without looking deeper I'll open up and say yes. I'm thinking the legal residence is the key.

Cool ! Thanks for the quick replys.
I'll have her sit in the two man blind with me or her boyfriend and see if she can't whack one.
