Didn't know whether to post this here, or in modern firearms, but it does pertain to deer hunting. My son and I are both going to use new .44 mags for this years deer season. His is a handi rifle, and mine a Marlin 1894. After shooting a couple different brands, we have settled on the hornady LE ammo. However, we tried a box of the Win. USA white box stuff, and out of about 30 shots, we wound up with 10 split cases We had split cases in both rifles out of this box of ammo. Any of you boys have the same problem? Anybody know how to get ahold of their QC dept.? All my years of shooting all kinds of factory ammo, the majority of which is winchester, I have NEVER had this happen before! Mad Dog
