The 2008 Reserved Waterfowl Hunt drawing results are now available, exclusively, at www.wildlife.IN.gov. After clicking on this link, go to the center of your computer screen, under "Featured Topics."
There are 2 files posted there, one listing all applicants and the other listing only successful applicants. Both files are searchable by applicant's name. The instructions for conducting a search are provided.
As reported in a Wild Bulletin dated Aug. 20, this online posting will be the only notification applicants receive regarding their status for this year's reserved waterfowl hunt. The tight deadlines caused by federal control of waterfowl hunting dates and various other factors did not allow sufficient time to give waterfowl hunters the option of registering for the drawing and receiving a reply via the U.S. Postal Service. Registration for these hunts opened Aug. 25 and closed Sept. 26.
If you know of fellow applicants who may not have convenient computer access, please check their status and pass on the word to them.
