Got this in my email this AM - hope it still works. Obama's Plan for your defense: A leading General in the Russian Army recently stated that if the USA installed defensive missiles in Poland, it would be provocation worthy of a Russian nuclear attack on Poland. This is a few days after Russia invaded Georgia. The hyperlink attached below tells us what Obama plans to do to defend our freedom. This video does not tell us what Obama is "reported" to have said; but shows him saying it! THE DEMOCRAT PARTY IS TRYING TO HAVE THIS VIDEO PULLED IMMEDIATELY. PLEASE CLICK THE LINK BELOW. Please send this to everyone you know today, since it will be pulled off the air soon. This is an uninterrupted 51-second video of Obama speaking; he's telling us exactly what he will do to the military...watch it before it is removed off the web site. Pass it on...the USA needs a Wake-up call. macsmind.com/wordpress/2008/06/08/obama-wants-to-protect-america/This is absolutely shocking & reprehensible. He plans to unilaterally disarm our nation. The question is... for what? And more specifically, for whom?!!!!!!!!

No need really for a video or a media link. All you have to do is just to take a look at the way he has voted. Not only federally but state too.

dont worry, the video is not going anywhere. Its all over the internet. just more of the campaign of fear. I vote we increase our millitary spending, and missile development to waste more of taxpayers dollars but in so doing alleviate their fears and make them think they really need big govt to protect them from the terrorists around every corner. lets not forget this campaign of fear is how we lost so many of our civil liberties when the congress and Bush passed the Patriot Act... The fact that you consider a strong defense of our country to be a "waste" of taxpayer dollars concerns me 76. Apparently, you have not been paying attention to world events or refuse to believe that we live in an increasingly dangerous world and a lot of it wants to obliterate us from the face of the earth. National defense is one of the only powers enumerated to the federal government and it's most important responsibility. Dabbling in the economy and social engineering, "free" college educations etc, are where the feds need to cut the budget and keep their nose out of.

I agree that national defense is one of the powers given to the federal government and I dont take it lightly. The truth is that we already have more than enough war tools to defend this country from anyone on earth. If they were not deployed to fight an illegal and injust war based on lies fear and misinformation then they would be here to defend us if called upon. The fact that you consider a strong defense of our country to be a "waste" of taxpayer dollars concerns me 76. Sorry if I misunderstood, but your post did not convey that meaning to me.
True, They are the best on the planet, but obsolescence occurs rapidly in todays world. Constant R&D of our weapons and defense capabilities keeps us one step ahead of our enemies, wouldn't you agree? This is why I don't understand the "waste of money" comment.
I'm growing weary of this claim. Illegal? No, congress approved and funded the war alongside our president. Unjust? You might want to spend some time talking this over with some of the personnel who have actually been there, or some of the Iraqi people themselves. Lies? Misinformation? By whom? Names and proof please. The Senate intelligence committee (staffed by Dem's Feinstein, Kerry, and others) have oversight of sensitive intel not available to all and if they had any concerns or reservations about intel being inaccurate, they should have raised these to their fellow members of Congress and nixed the war at the get-go. They did not. Indeed, they averred before Congress that the intel strongly suggested that Hussein possessed WMD's.
