A family at church yesterday told me that they are seeing puff balls coming up.
Anyone here eat those things? And, if so, how do you prepare them? parson

I've eaten them before. Not the best but not bad either. I sliced mine like a steak 1/2" and pan fried it with vegi oil, salt, peper. Kind of like eating styrofoam peanuts/marshmellow with an earthy kick.

Love em! Depending on the size, half or quarter and cut into thin slices. Batter & spice to taste. Deep fry in lard or oil.
