New to the form but a "Boilermaker" my whole life. Just got back into hunting 3 years ago. Bow hunted Whitetail for three, Turkey hunted for two and with the persistence of a friend Duck and Goose hunted for one. I am lucky because my oldest daughter, 13, is my hunting buddy. I have hunting with both of my daughter and for my Anniversary present my wife took me Duck hunting, she is not a gun caring hunter but a hunter just the same. With my tour coming to an end in November I'm hoping for a real good December.
Looking forward to searching the forms to find information and learning. Maybe get a chance to talk to a couple of you and with any luck get a chance to hang in a tree with ya. Enjoy the opening of Deer and Duck and save a few for us in December. I hunt Johnson, Shelby, Huntington and Grant County.

Thank you all for the welcome aboard, I figure this would be a good time to tell you a little more about myself. Born and raised in Grant Co., joined the Army out of High School, married my childhood sweetheart and have spent 17 of 19 years outside of our great state. Uncle Sam doesn't mess up to often but for some reason he decided to station me in Indiana and as soon as my tour is done here in Afghanistan I will be giving Uncle Sam my notice, no complaints mine you, but with my daughter being at the age she is I just want to be around when that first boy gathers up enough courage to come bang on my door, not half way around the world.
I have a lot of family through out Indiana and all my brother-in-laws hunt so I get a chance to hunt with them on property that they hunt and when they come down I share Atterbury Fish and Wildlife area with them. I enjoy public land because of the people i have meet and got a chance to hunt with, i never would have meet these people on private land. So if you hunt Atterbury F&W and ever find yourself tracking or dragging a deer and need help just give me a call or if your setting on one of her banks hunting for Ducks and you hear a duck or goose that sounds like they are being rapped by a coyote, stop by and say hi.
