A little over 4 inches in the last 24 hours and more rain is predicted for the next 24 to 36 hours. It has not stopped raining since about 2:00pm yesterday and looking at the radar I don't see it stopping anytime soon. BUT YES-I KNOW- WE NEED THE RAIN.

Lookin' like we might get some big time flooding (again) after Ike's remnants hit us early in the week. Here we go again!

No, we don't need rain. We needed it a month ago, it's too late to do the crops any good now. All it is doing now is getting the ground soft and muddy. If this keeeps up it's going to be a fun fall.

We are now well over 5'' of rain.We got a break for about 5 hours and now were back at it again. One of my driveways is under about 18" of water. This is really going to hurt the farmers around here and the shame of it is that by the time duck season rolls around all this water will be gone.

I got the pumps, all we need is a couple hundred miles of discharge hose.
