not bad Kevin, gotta love silage!!!!!!How do you kill so many in the early season? ?Scouting???Calling????Decoys? ??Blinds? ?All of the above. Is it hard too hide hunters in silage field? ?Have the geese figured out the blinds after 12 yrs of using them(FA sliders) ???Good Job!!!!!

All of the above but scouting is the key. The birds don't seem to mind the blinds as long as you make them look exactly like the field your'e in. I'm lucky because alot of my fields belong to farmers with older equipment so there tends to be clumps of stalks on the ground. That helps hide the blinds. Another thing we do is not hunt a field the day after finding birds in it. If you have the time to let them use it for a couple days they get comfortable with the surroundings and are easier to hunt. This is where having lot's of property pays off. Just my opinion. Kevin

Nice job. Wish the birds were that cooperative around here...., or maybe I should say, I wish I could gain access to the fields they are in over here.

Thanks Kevin.Do you think it is easier to kill birds early or in the late season in MI????Do you call a lot in the early season or back off? ?Too let a field rest you must have the property solo.Do you think early you can get away with hunting so many guys and not get burned by the blinds????In my opinion, the geese have figured out the blinds(1 or 2 of the adults knows the deal)What do you think?

I do believe the blind thing though... i have went strictly to the FA goose suit. If the flocks are off in the distance aways i start to do the chicken dance ....... strictly choreographed to the tune of Straight Meat Honkers blarin by my buddies. ( WE practice alot) Boy you talk about comin in on a string!! A flag doesnt hold a candle to my goose suit chicken dance. Gotta watch in though when ya do the wing flap sometimes you lift off the ground a tad. Not a lot or nothin but enough to sprain an ankle when you come back down. Hope this helps
