Pro-life all the way, too. " of course, the mother's life takes precedence. ! No it doesn't. When we decide who's life is more worthy we are no different than those cruel rulers of the past who have done the same. Save them both if you can and for pete's sake wrong medical advise is given all the time. It's an OPINION!

Excuse me Doc,,,,,,the mother would live with that reminder for the rest of that child's life,,not just 9 months. I agree with you otherwise.

Excuse me Doc,,,,,,the mother would live with that reminder for the rest of that child's life,,not just 9 months. I agree with you otherwise. This is a good point, and speaks even more to the severity of the crime. No child should have to pay with his or her life just because he or she was conceived through rape. P.S. I see and agree with what Woody is saying about adoption, but I think part of what you are saying is that when someone is raped, the impact on the person does not go away after 9 months, even if the child is put up for adoption. This would apply to anyone who is a victim of an attack such as this.

Pro life in every instance. Nothing gives a woman the right to kill her own child--not even if the child was brought about via the disgusting crime of rape. The fact that the mother has to live with the pregnancy and constant reminder of the crime for 9 months is part of the severity of the crime and should be factored into the rapist's sentence. If the mother's life is in danger, doctors can do everything to deliver the baby and help him or her live on his or her own rather than sucking his or her brains out the back of his or her skull or injecting him or her with a saline solution until he or she dies painfully.

OIS: This Nation is full of rules, passed by MAN which are an attempt to FORCIBLY prevent MAN from doing wrong actions. A law to prevent abortion is no different than a law to prevent murder, or a law to prevent you from exceeding the posted speed limit. I have the RIGHT to voice my opinion on the topic, and how I feel about those who disagree with my viewpoint, just as much as you have the RIGHT to cast judgement on how you feel I am somehow circumventing God's wishes by voicing my opinion. Am I guilty of a sin in judging someone for their belief? Yes, I absolutly am........ but there are some things in MY viewpoint are worth standing up and accepting what punishment I might have coming for judging what I feel is pure evil in todays society. "And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death." -Numbers 35:16 on this one as well!
