A big thank you to Gundude for hooking me up with the info I needed to make the NRA aware of what Craig Fry is once again trying to do to us waterfowlers. This morning I spoke to one of their Lobbyist Assts who deals with hunter rights. I informed him that I was shocked that Craig Fry would hold an "A" rating from the NRA even though he's trying to drive the first nail into the coffin that could eliminate hunting on all of Indiana's rivers and streams. All the information on Fry and his shenanigans was delivered on a silver platter to the gentleman I spoke with, and he was stunned. He assured me that the NRA-ILA would be researching this and will be speaking to Rep. Fry ASAP on this matter. He said that if the information pans out, that I can rest easy that Fry will NOT be getting high marks from the NRA.
Hopefully this will put him and his antics under the microscope of the NRA watchdogs!

Unfortunately yes...... Gundude alerted me today that somehow, the ball has been dropped at the NRA level and Fry was awarded an "A" rating as the ratings were just released. We're trying to figure out what happened because all the evidence about Fry's antics were delivered to the NRA-ILA on a silver platter. I'm VERY unhappy that someone who has created legislation to severely restrict hunter rights is not being punished for those actions. Hopefully we'll get an explaination very soon on this. At this point, the best outcome is for Hoosiers to vote this clown out of office.

Travis, I love the research you do on these matters. Rep Fry has misrepresented himself to the general public. The NRA debacle is old news up here. His biggest concern should be the fact that he wrote a letter to Daniels and the director of the dnr claiming that conservation officers in St Joseph county ignore complaints about hunters because they(conservation officers) own and operate a commercial hunting operation on the stretch of river in question.
The two co's named by Fry have requested that a full investigation should be conducted by the Indiana State Police. Once they are cleared of these bulls**t allegations I hope they intend to investigate rep fry for filing false police reports about a local government official being shot by a hunter on the st. joe river(county councilman). Law enforcement officials have been unable to find any evidence that this "shooting" ever occured. One would think that if a elected official actually was shot by a irresponsible hunter they would at least file a police report. FRY NEEDS TO GO. We cannot allow Craig Fry to abuse his elected position in our state government for his own personal agenda any longer.
