Well went out this morning with my buddy J.B. to the field we had thought about going for the opener, but the birds have changed up on us and are not on the schedule they were on. 
This was just a fun hunt and not running any video. Finally about 8:30 we had 1 group of about 12 come in and they were on a string right into our spread and drop in about 15 yards out max and I yell "Take em"!!! (By the way.... MAN did that feel good!! it's been a long offseason!). So J.B. and I raise up out of our blinds and start in on them, I start out the year 3 for 3, and if I would have been ready to reload fast I could have shot another 1 at least! J.B. hits one and it goes down and then he shoots another, well his first one was only winged and ended up flying off So that was it, we ended the day with 4 birds...... Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the 3 birds that I shot were all banded!!!! 
;D ;D ;D I have to be real honest with you... the last 2 years have been tough on me, running the camera most of the time and not actually getting to "hunt", so this is a very sweet moment for me! Good times with a good friend, and a little reward to boot!! Good times!! Here's a few photos for the morning.....
