Does anyone know who carries Moose plows for ATV's in central Indiana? I have a 2005 Honda Rancher that I want to push snow out of my drive with this winter. I looked at Swisher plows at Rural King in Muncie today. They want $300 for a 50 inch plow and $155 for the mounting bracket, and I can use my winch to raise and lower it. The plow actually looked pretty well made, and it was solid. I'm getting too old to shovel a path 10 yards wide and fifty yards long! ;D

Not sure if you got an answer to your question or not. But Anderson PowerSports used to carry them. Noblesville Honda/Kawa did as well at one time.

I have the Swisher plow for my '04 Rancher, when mounted it is a very solid unit. The push bar goes under the ATV and bolts to the rear hitch giving a great point for stress. The draw back is the front spring support. First you have to take off your CV joint guards to put the brackets on the lower A-frames and then when the cross spring is on it makes the ATV a "staight axle" no give at all. This along with the low clearance of the pushbar makes it useless as a 4 wheeler even with the blade off. It takes a good bit of work and alot of laying in the floor to mount and dis-mount the pushbar. I'm thinking of selling mine, if possible, and getting a different make. I don't need my 4 wheeler to be a bull dozer, I allready have one ! I feel that the other brands that hook-up to the brackets that attach to the lower mid-frame would be enough for pushing snow. And look like they would be easier to take on and off. Don't know about the Moose plows but the Cycle Country plows have this type of hook-up.
